With her always handy camera, Avery captures all the hottest happenings in Portland. Rockin' the runway with PROPELThe season's hottest looks for both day and night hit the catwalk this evening at DiMillo's Floating Restaurant during PROPEL's Fall Fashion Show. Modeling for this Portland Regional Chamber membership group were Will Thomas, June Usher, Sherry Jiguere, Debra Anderson and Justin Lamontagne. Standing behind them is April Ylvisaker, one of the event's organizers and emcees. April told me all of the threads, which came from Portland boutiques Serendipity and David Woods Ltd., showcase "what's hot in business right now" while offering "a modern twist on classic style." Here's a sampling: Will is ready for the jet set with Barbour's Horse Riding Jacket by To Ki To over his shoulder, a cardigan by Barbour and the M3, a trim trouser from Bill's Khakis. June struts her stuff in this fabulous coat dress with a bubble skirt from Joseph Ribkoff. Sherry brought a party vibe in another sexy number from Joseph Ribkoff featuring a ruffled bronze collar. Justin shows off the lining of this Barbour Heritage Line International Motorcycle Trials jacket, which he's wearing with a Morton Check shirt, Barbour sweater and the Bill's Khakis Parker Pant. Ready for either a cocktail party or a wedding reception, Debra vamped in this glittery top and black skirt from Joseph Ribkoff. Should you want to see more photos from this fun event, check out the Scene & Heard section in this weekend's Maine Sunday Telegram and the Scene & Heard Facebook page, where I'll have them posted on Thursday.
