Standout game for Dennis

Maine linebacker Donte Dennis was recognized by the Colonial Athletic Association for his standout performance against Massachusetts on Saturday.

Dennis was named CAA Defensive Player of the Week.

Dennis, a sophomore, had 11 tackles, two interceptions, recovered a fumble and broke up two passes helping Maine to a 19-9 win at home.

Maine's defense forced six turnovers on the day, and two of them were converted to scores.
